Tulsidas Jayanti is celebrated in order to pay respect to Tulsidas on his birthday which comes on the 7th day of the Shukla Paksha in Sawan month as per the Hindu calendar. According to these figures, in 2022, Tulsidas Jayanti will be celebrated on the 4th of August 2022 on Thursday. Tulsidas Jayanti is marked by the people of India and religious gurus in the remembrance of the great poet of Hindi literature, Goswami Tulsidas. The devotees of Lord Rama also have a respectful feeling for poet Tulsidas as he composed Ramcharitmanas, the biggest book of Hindi literature. On the occasion of the Tulsidas Jayanti, the devotees of Lord Rama pay respect to Lord Rama by reading Ramcharitmanas at temples and worshiping Lord Rama. This is the biggest day for the religious gurus also who worship Lord Hanuman, the biggest devotee of Lord Rama while reciting Ramcharitmanas and his other compositions. Various public, private and social groups conduct events like Ramlila in the many parts of India on this auspicious day.
