He Was A Senior Advocate Of The Supreme Court Of India. He Oversaw The Introduction Of The Goods And Services Tax Which Brought The Country Under One GST Regime, Demonetisation, Merger Of Railway Budget With General Budget And Introduction Of Insolvency And Bankruptcy Code. He Died On 24 August 2019 In All Institute Of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.

अरुण जेटली एक भारतीय राजनीतिज्ञ और अटॉर्नी थे। उनका जन्म 28 दिसंबर 1952 को नई दिल्ली में हुआ था। वह भारतीय जनता पार्टी के 1991 से सदस्य थे, उन्होंने 2014 से 2019 तक भारत सरकार के वित्त और कॉर्पोरेट मामलों के मंत्री के रूप में सेवा की। वह भारत के सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता थे। उन्होंने सामान और सेवा कर का परिचय दिया, जो देश में एक GST शासन के तहत लाया गया, विमुद्रीकरण, आम बजट के साथ रेल बजट का विलय और दिवाला और दिवालियापन संहिता का परिचय। उनका 24 अगस्त 2019 को नई दिल्ली के आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थानों में निधन हो गया।
